Strawberry Fluff

I love dessert and I love simple recipes, so I grabbed this one from my husband Mark to make for a social event!


Strawberry Fluff

Ingredients:

1 16 oz box angel food cake mix
1 large 6 oz box strawberry jello
16 oz Cool Whip
1 10 oz package frozen strawberries
fresh strawberries for the top

Directions:

1. Make the cake mix as directed on the box. Cool completely.
2. Dissolve the jello in 2 cups of boiling water.
3. Add the frozen strawberries and 5 ice cubes. Stir.
4. Chill in the refrigerator until it thickens, but is not set up hard.
5. Fold in 2/3 of the Cool Whip.
6. Break the cake into pieces. Put 1/2 of the cake pieces on the bottom of a large glass bowl.
7. Top with 1/2 of the jello mixture.
8. Repeat until all cake and jello mixture is gone, ending with the jello mixture.
9. Chill 4-6 hours.
10. Before serving, add dollops of Cool Whip and fresh strawberries to the top.
