E-Z Drop Biscuits

Do you ever crave a moist biscuit you can use for your strawberry shortcake AND your chicken pot pie? Oh, AND they are cheap, easy, and quick to make?!

E-Z Drop Biscuits

(adapted from: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/21135/e-z-drop-biscuits/)

The recipe states it makes 12 biscuits, but I make about 9 bigger biscuits with my ice cream scoop.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 Tablespoon baking powder

2 teaspoons white sugar

1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar ( you don't have to put this in if you don't have any)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup melted butter

1 cup milk

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

2. Combine in a large bowl: flour, baking powder, sugar, cream of tartar, and salt.

3. Stir in melted butter and milk until just moistened.

4. Drop the batter on a lightly greased cookie sheet by the tablespoon. ( I used the leftover drips of melted butter to grease my sheet and an ice cream scoop to drop my batter onto the pan.)

5. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown on the edges, about 8-12 minutes.
